How We Work

Complementary 20min Discovery call
This is a free call where you tell us more about your project and what you need help with. We also have the oportunity to tell you how we work.
90 minutes paid in-home consult*
This is when we will take the full design brief. We will conduct a style analysis and get a feel of the type of style you like and what functions your family perform at home. This will be the opportunity to see your space and draw a wishlist of products we’d need to bring in achieve your design dreams.

Budget estimate
28oh5 will be able to provide you with an estimate of the overall costs.**
Presentation + Discussion
Soon after, we’ll present you with a fully realised concept for your space including mood boards and space layout of each room.
We work together to get the concept spot-on; we talk you through the plan for each room and note your feedback down. Your feedback is important in us making your space everything you dreamed it could be.

Product specifications
Once you approve and sign off the designs, products, timelines and costings, we’ll invoice you.
Design Process
After we receive the deposit we will send you a full product specification sheet per room with images, costs and dimensions of each item you should purchase (we can organise ordering and delivery of the furniture & decor items to your property if you on your behalf if you choose).

Completion
Once all of the products are paid for and delivered to your home, we’ll come and style the rooms so they reach their full design potential.
(If your service includes partial renovations, we will co-ordinate with the contructor in this step and then design the rooms thereafter).
* Please note that a consult meeting is no guarantee that we’ll take on your project. Both parties are under no obligation to move forward after the first meeting. There are a variety of reasons on both sides (be it personality fit, budget, timeframes and more) that might mean we’re not the right designers for you. That said, the majority of in-home consults do move on to the next step.
